David A. Tibbetts, President

David A. Tibbetts co-founded MVEDC in 1999 along with Kendall M. Wallace (then Publisher of The Lowell Sun) and Irving E. Rogers, III, (then Publisher of The Eagle-Tribune). He served as Secretary of Economic Affairs and Massachusetts Director of Economic Development from 1996 to 1999. Tibbetts serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Alliance for Economic Development. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and Boston College Law School.
