Analytical Instruments
More than 50 companies in the industrial instrumentation field are located in the Merrimack Valley. Massachusetts Instrumentation, an emerging initiative to support ongoing development and growth in this sector of the economy, is being pursued with financial and organizational support from the John Adams Innovation Institute, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and the Merrimack Valley Economic Development Council.
Quality by Design, a April 11, 2007 forum in Billerica, Mass. brought together biopharmaceutical and analytical instrumentation companies within Massachusetts for the purpose of exploring how best to leverage measurement and process control capabilities found among regional companies.
